Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to investigate the fact that a lead-zinc-silver mineral deposit in the district of Balya, Balıkesir, which is one of the metal mineral deposits with a complex mineralization structure, is represented by geostatistical methods; It is the modeling and calculation of the distribution and reserve of the underground by using reserve parameters (density, area, thickness, grade etc.). This modeling will also assist in the production planning and operation design of the ore deposit. Within the scope of the field works, the necessary studies on surface geology and mineral deposits are made, and the drilling operations and the previous studies are seen and implemented in the first place. After the field studies, the data obtained in the field and the database should be created. The study continues with the identification of the area where the grade and reserve analysis will be conducted and the creation of polygons. The result is the estimation by using Inverse Distance Weighting-IDW (Reverse Distance Weighted Interpolation) method and the modeling of the reserve by two-three-dimensional diagrams. As a result of this study, a total of 13 million tons of lead-zinc-silver ore were identified and the average tenors of these ores were calculated as Pb 3.09%, Zn 3.58% and Ag 17.83 gr/t.
