Abstract (EN)

The banking system, which developed with the increase in capital movements between countries, has also been one of the leading sectors in the use of technological developments. In the process that started with the use of the internet in banking transactions, today many banking transactions can be done with mobile devices without visiting branches. The increasing use of technology in the banking sector has increased the need for technological competence in the employees in this sector and technological competence has been effective in the employment preference of banks. In this study, it has been tried to analyze the development and expectations of bank employees related to technology through the technology acceptance model. Although the study consists of 3 parts, in the first part, banking transactions are examined functionally, starting with the history of banking. In the second part, the technology acceptance model used in the study and the evolutionary process of this model are examined. In the last section, using the Technology acceptance model scale, a questionnaire was applied to 165 bankers in the central district of Trabzon with random sampling method and the results were evaluated. In this section, the basic statistical results of the data obtained were examined first, and then 6 different models were established with the help of the least squares method. As a result, it has been determined that the relevant bankers follow the technological developments closely and have a high perception of benefit.
