Organizational structure and functions of the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency

The Turkish Banking System has gone through many stages until it has become its current state. What happened in the past to present in Turkey and in the world financial markets has revealed the importance of financial market regulation and supervision. The Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency was established as an independent administrative authority with the aim of making the financial sector more effective, with the aim of making the financial sector more effective with the withdrawal from the financial area of the state and the private sector investors started to operate in this field and the financial sector's fragile structure was not included in the political ideas. The purpose of this study is to examine the situation related to the regulation and supervision of banking in the world and to examine the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency in Turkey's organizational structure and functions. In addition, with the establishment of the Institution, what it brings to the management system and what effects it has and the issues of whether the institution is sufficient and whether a roof administrative authority covering all financial institutions is required is examined.
