A new decision support system for banking performance systems

In this study, using the Malmquist Total Factor Productivity Index and Basic Data envelopment analysis, efficiency of operating performance between the years 2008-2013 on six private commercial banks and three state-owned banks in Turkey were analyzed. Classical DEA and Malmquist TFP Index using approaches, measuring the effectiveness of Turkey and implications for improving the banking system was obtained. R programming language and R Studio software has been used for analysis. There are a few studies on the R software for banking with Turkey. Basic Data Envelopment Analysis can only calculate the overall efficiency performance of decision-making units. The results obtained here are comparatively supported by calculating the more detailed performance of our data over the years with the Malmquist method. Thus, the decisions to be taken are based on a two-way technical basis. The decisions taken by banks / companies and the related results in these analyzes will have a positive impact on our country's economy.
