Abstract (EN)

Ecological changes in the world in the last thirty decades have begun to increase concerns for future generations and have resulted in the introduction of new concepts into the literature. Sustainability, which is one of these concepts, includes not violating their right to life using today's resources efficiently and effectively for the sake of the future. Sustainability, which includes macro and micro perspectives and practices, expresses a multidimensional approach that includes social and economic systems as well as ecological systems. Examining sustainability within the framework of the organization, corporate sustainability aims to ensure that the systems can continue without deformation by placing the future in the methods and practices of doing business. One of the basic conditions of ensuring sustainability in national and international dimensions is that organizations can embed and internalize their corporate sustainability practices. In the research, corporate sustainability indicators in banking, which is in the financial sector, were evaluated. The aim of the research is to determine the sustainability perceptions of bank managers within the scope of determined sustainability indicators. In the research, a questionnaire study was conducted on bank managers located within the provincial border of Kütahya, which was prepared in the form of pairwise comparisons containing the dimensions of social, economic, environmental, financial and managerial sustainability and the sub-components of these dimensions. The data of the research were analyzed and interpreted with the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method, which is one of the multi-criteria decision-making methods. According to this; In the research, it has been revealed that bank managers prioritize the economic sustainability dimension. It has been seen that other sustainability dimensions are financial, managerial, social and environmental sustainability, respectively.
