Abstract (EN)
In this study, hydrogen and methane production by supercritical water gasification (SCWG) of peas and red kidney beans wastes, these structure is lignocellulosic biomass, was investigated. Peapod and Red kidney bean shells which does not be recovered were chosen as model waste compounds and the experiments were performed in 100 ml shaking autoclaves. The experiments were carried out without and with catalysts as Trona, Dolomite, Borax, KOH and NaOH. Gas, liquid and solid products were analyzed by different techniques understand the effects of parameters on SCWG of red kidney bean shells and peapod. The main gas products were CO2, H2 ve CH4, also there were trace amount of CO ve C2-C4 hydrocarbons. Formation of water-soluble organics, coke and tars were observed in liquid and solid products, respectively. After the experiments, increase of gas product and decrease of liquid product with increasing temperature were seen.
