Abstract (EN)
Head and neck cancer is under the influence of various factors and it constitutes approximately 10% of all body cancers. In the treatment of head and neck cancer, radiotherapy is significant. There are various radiotherapy techniques in therapy. Related to the using technique, healthy tissue is also exposured with different volumes. The patient?s life quality can be affected by these healthy tissue exposures. 3D confomal and intensity modulated radiotherapy techniques are to be used at qualified facilities,in recent years. In the study of physics topics, as well as the information given to medical applications, basic resources and scientific research have been used in the preparation of the study on the subject and study was conducted at the Department of Radiation Oncology, Ankara University School of Medicine. ( In this study, at The Ankara University Radiation Onchology A.D.Plan 1- conventional photon + elektron, plan 2- 3D conformal photon + elektron and plan 3- 3D 6 field photon planing For every patient, DVH? s were plotted on TPS and determined results from these DVH? s were analysed. Critic organs and target organs were compared as percentage and cGy type according to computed dose values. As a result of this study, to provide less dose delivering of critic organs and healty tissues and homogen dose distribution of target organs, its determined that conformal planning technique is beter than conventional technique)
