Abstract (EN)
In this study, some variance estimators in simple random sampling method have been investigated. These estimators have been proposed to use in the estimation of confidence intervals of the population mean in this study. Also, how the confidence interval estimators that were calculated by using different variance estimators could change depending on different variables. As a result, it is discussed which estimators provides the best confidence interval by a simulation study. Simulation study show that while the most efficient variance estimator Gupta and Shabbir, the variance estimator with the narrowest confidence interval of population mean is Lone Tailor variance estimator.
