The evaluation of the quality perception of basketball spectators towards the services offered in sport centers in the terms of some variables

In this research, the aim is to identify the service quality perceptions of the supporters about the services offered in sport centers.Research has been carried out with the supporters who come to watch the matches in Beşiktaş, Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe sport clubs where the basketball matches are played. The sample of this survey consists of the supporters who are chosen between the ones who come to watch the men?s basketball teams in the matches that Beşiktaş, Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray host in BEKO 2010-2011 Basketball League and 384 supporters who want to take part in this survey willingly.?Service Quality Perceived In Sport Centers Scale? that has developed by the researcher in order to measure the supporter?s service quality perceptions, and in order to determine the supporter?s identification levels with their teams, performed by Wann and Branscombe (1993) and fullfilled the validity and reliability by Günay and Tiryaki, ?Sport Supporters Identification Scale (SSIS)? have been used.In the end of the research, there is no significant difference found between the independent variable of the supporters? gender, marital status, job status, income status and ticket kinds and perceived service quality, whereas there is a significant relation found between the independent variable of education level and perceived service quality. There is a positive relation found between the independent variable of the frequency of watching matches and identification and the perceived service quality; there is a negative relationship between the independent variable of age and the perceived service quality.
