Printmaking individual and urbanization trouble

This study, which aims to highlight the processes of individual and urban definitions from the beginning to the present day and its connection with different disciplines, was created on three main topics in the master's thesis titled 'Individual and Urbanization Problem in Oppression'. In the first part of the thesis, the processes of individual and city definitions from the beginning to the present day are discussed theoretically. In this process, the main headings were created over the two concepts, and the connection of these concepts with other disciplines was explained through the subheadings. At this point, the first focus was on the concept of the individual, and the individual's connections with Society, art and politics were also presented in subheadings. Defining the changes of the concept of the city, which is the second concept, from the past to the present, and establishing the connections of urban architecture with the individual in this adventure are again discussed in this section. In the second part of the thesis, based on the effects of the concept of the city on the individual, the spiritual structure of the individual and the problems related to urban life were revealed through art. At this point, seeing the effectiveness of the political structure, which is an element of cities, on the city and the individual, showing itself in printmaking and the concept of the city by printmaking artists, examples of urban images of currents and showing the effectiveness of technology and industrialization related to it, as well as giving clues about changing urban life are again discussed in this section. In the last part of the thesis, the effects of the city bill on the individual and art that have changed in the light of technological development and industrialization have been approached through the works of artists. In particular, this section, shaped according to the historical process of individual-city relations and contemporary approaches of artists, also serves as a guide in reflecting the cities of the period.
