A selection of Minoan and Mycenaean works in West Anatolia

Western coasts of Asia Minor, in the concentration of the overseas culture has been the focus of interest during the II. Millenium B.C.Two of these cultures Minoan culture from Crete and Mycenaean culture from Mainland Greece have been intensively associated with the region. They have intensively engaged with indigenous peoples and have been mutually influenced by each other. Also, the Cycladic culture from the Dodecanese islands has pioneered these cultures. The traces of these relations are observed in archaeological finds in various settlements.
