Abstract (EN)
This study was done on bonding performance of some important glues used inwood products industry company. For this purpose, wood samples were cutfrom Scots Pine (Pinus Sylvestris L.), Beech (Fagus Orientalis L.), MDF(medium Density of Fiberboard), laminated with chipboard and chipboard thenwere bonded with PVAc, Desmodur VTKA, Kleiberit 569 glues. With drawalstrength tests was done an these prepaired samples for massive wood andboards products acccordingly to TS EN 205 and ASTM D 1037 respectively.As to result, the highest bonding performance was determined as 13, 51 N/mm²,3, 29 N/mm², 7, 13 N/mm² and 14, 34 N/mm² on wood samples according towood material, boards, glue and interaction of wood and glue respectively.Accordingly, Kleiberit 569 is advantage to suppled to use as glue both woodmaterial and boards.Science Code : 711.3.023Key Words : Bonding performance, adhesive, wood board and woodmaterialsPage Number : 36Advisor : Prof. Dr. Mustafa ALTINOK
