Abstract (EN)

This dissertation aims at studying a which; total 99 (37 ??; 41 ??; 19 hermaphrodite) samples belong to four Anura species (B. bufo, B. viridis, R. ridibunda, R. dalmatina) collected from Çanakkale province and vicinity; on Mean cell hemoglobin (MCH), Mean red blood cell hemoglobin (MCV), Mean cell hemoglobin concentration (MCHC), erythtocyte count, hemoglobin concentration and hematocrit parameters effects in various seasonal, sexual and reproduction periods in a comparative manner. This dissertation also aims at and looking at the similarities and differences of blood parameters between aquatic and terrestrial anur species. The erythrocyte number, hemoglobin and hematocrit were done respectively using; Neubauer hemocytometer, Sahli methods, Electro-Mag M18 microhematocrit santrifuge. Hematocrit tubes were santrifuged for 5 minutes 2000 rpm. MCV, MCH and MCHC were calculated mathematically. We have seen that in all the samples used male erythrocyte is more than female eryhtrocyte during coupling periods, hematocrit, hemoglobin and erythtocyte values are much higher in the Bufonidae family than the Ranidae family. Key Words: B. bufo, B. viridis, R. ridibunda, R. dalmatina, Bufonidae, Ranidae, Anura, Erythtocyte, Hemoglobin, Hematocrit, Mean red blood cell volume (MCV), Mean cell hemoglobin (MCH), Mean cell hemoglobin concentration (MCHC).
