Abstract (EN)
In this research; with comparising three different antimicrobial test methods (microdilution, colormetric microdilution and quantitive spectrofotometric), antidemofitic activity results of extract and subfractions gathered by different plants (H. perforatum, C. laurifoluis) are evaulated comparitevly.In the microduliton method the incubation time for dermatophyts (T. rubrum, E. floccosum, M. gypseum) is 7 days otherhand in the colormetric microdilution method it is a short time period like 72 hours. IC50 values gathered by the spectrofotometric method gave quantitive results. When these three methods are compared, the colometric microdilution shows an advantage as giving results in a short time. The spectrofotometric method is same as giving quick results but also in need of a detailed evaulation of data absorbance of all microorganisms, samples and concentrates is determined as time consuming.When the microdilution and colormetric microdilution is compared, the methabolic activation generally that is blocked by the consantration of antimicrobial gives an more advantage of short time results due to colour change.Key Words: Microdilution, Colorimetric Microdilution, Dermatophytes, Resazurin
