Abstract (EN)
In recent years, biopreparations have been widely used in the control of plant-parasitic nematodes. In this study, the effects of some biopreparations on Root-knot nematode Meloidogyne incognita (Kofoid and White) (Tylenchida: Meloidogynidae) were investigated. The experiments were conducted in 0.5 liter black pots containing a sandy soil mixture (50% sand, 25% loam, and 25% torf). Experiments were conducted in a climate chamber under controlled conditions (25±2 ºC temperature, 60±10% relative humidity, 16:8 L:D) for 60 days. The study was set up a randomized complete plot design with eight treatments [(1) Biyopreparation-I (ABD) biological formulation containing Bacillus licheniformis and Bacillus subtilis species (2) Biyopreparation-I (BD) (3) Biyopreparation-I (CD) (4) Biyopreparation-I + Biyopreparation-II containing Bacillus licheniformis species (5) Biopreparation-III containing spores of Purpureocillium lilacinus 251 + Fluopyram 400 g/L (6) Abamectin 20 g/L (7) Control (+) (8) Control (-)], each with five replications. The impact of the treatments on the reproduction of M. incognita was assessed based on the gall index, number of egg packs in plant roots, and the number of second-stage juveniles in the soil in this study. According to the study results, the lowest gall formation compared to the Control (+) treatment was observed in the following order: Biopreparation-III + Fluopyram 400 g/L (0.40±0.24), Abamectin 20 g/L (3.40±0.24), and Biyopreparation-I (BD) (4.20±0.37), and the highest gall formation was observed in the Biyopreparation-I (CD) treatment (5.00±0.31). Biopreparation-III + Fluopyram 400 g/L (99.76%), Abamectin 20 g/L (70.29%) and Biyopreparation-I (BD) (57.36%) significantly reduced the number of second-stage juveniles of the nematode. Based on the study findings, it can be concluded that Bacillus-based biopreparations can be used in the control of the Root-knot nematode M. incognita.
