Abstract (EN)

In this study, P1 (M. alba variety Laevigata L.), 01-Gerdan-KD (M. rubra L.), S7 (M. rubra L.) and Morus rubra L. and Morus alba L. were determined by selection studies. It was aimed to determine phenological, morphological and biochemical properties of A5 (M. alba L.) mulberry genotypes under Adana conditions. For this purpose, phenological, morphological and biochemical properties of 4 genotypes were investigated. As a result of the study, the earliest flowering genotype was found as P1 among genotypes and this genotype also came into prominence in terms of its fruity and aroma characteristics. The sweetest fruits were taken from the 01-Gerdan-KD genotype and these two genotypes were selected among the 4 genotypes according to the region with other visible features. The A5 and S7 genotypes are far behind in terms of some fruit characteristics and have been proposed as a more suitable genotype especially for A5 cold regions. Chromosome numbers were determined as diploid in 4 genotypes by flow cytometry. The genotypes 01-Gerdan-KD and P1, which are prominent in terms of their allure and rich biochemical properties, were determined in accordance with the registration for Adana region.
