Abstract (EN)
In this study, nano B2O3/ZrO2 and single walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT)/Al2O3 materials were synthesized as nanosorbent for the preconcentration of trace elements. Crystal structures of the synthesized materials were determined by using x-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns, the physical appearance and dimensions of nano materials were investigated by using scanning electron microscope (SEM) and transmission electron microscope (TEM) images. It was found that the materials contained particles of which sized below 100 nm from TEM images. In order to demonstrate the usability of these synthesized materials as an adsorbent for the trace metal adsorption, continues (column) and batch methods were used. The effect of pH, sample flow rate, eluent type and sample volume etc. have been determined on the recovery of lead, copper and cobalt by using SWCNT/Al2O3, and cadmium, copper and cobalt by using nano B2O3/ZrO2. While the adsorption capacity of the adsorbents has been determined by applying batch method, optimum enrichment conditions have been determined by applying column technique. The effect of foreing ions and column reusability on the recovery of the analytes has also been investigated. Some analytical parameters such as limit of detection (LOD), limit of quantification (LOQ) and linear dynamic range of the method have also been determined. The accuracy of the method has been checked by analyzing certified reference materials (CRM) and spiked samples. The precision of the method has also determined and found that it was sufficent for analiytical purposes. Relative standart deviation of the recoveries are lower than 10 %. The developed method has been applied water, tea and clay samples. The analytes have been determined in various samples with a relative error less than 10 %.
