Reactions of some furan derivative compounds with hetereocyclic diamines

Özet (EN)

In this study, it was resulted in nineteen new compounds? synthesis and characterization. At the first step of our work, ethyl (5E)-5-(2-methoxy-2-oxoethylidene)-2-(4-methoxyphenyl)-4-oxo-4,5-dihydrofuran-3-carboxylate (3c) and ethyl 5-(2-ethoxy-2-oxoethylidene)-2-(4-methoxyphenyl)-4-oxo-4,5-dihydrofuran-3-carboxylate (3d) were synthesized from reactions of ethyl-2-(4-methoxyphenyl)-4,5-dioxo-4,5-dihydrofuran-3-carboxylate (1b) with Wittig reactives (2a-b) in solvent (benzene or toluen). At the second step, reactions of some heterocyclic diamine derivative nucleophiles (5a, 5b, 5c and 7) were studied with these two new compounds (3c-d), methyl [4-(4-methoxybenzoyl)-5-(4-methoxyphenyl)-3-oxofuran-2(3H)-ylidene]acetate (3a) and ethyl (2Z)-[4-(4-methoxybenzoyl)-5-(4-methoxyphenyl)-3-oxofuran-2(3H)-ylidene]acetate (3b). Pyrrol-3-one derivatives (8a-h and 9a-d) which aren?t included in literature were obtained from the result of these reactions. Finally, quinoxaline compounds (6a-c) were synthesized from reactions with (5a-c) nucleophiles of 4-benzoyl-5-phenylfuran-2,3-dione (4a) and 4-(4-methylbenzoyl)-5-(4-methylphenyl)furan-2,3-dione (4b). The structures of these synthesized new compounds were determined by the interpretation of the result obtained from the elemental analysis, IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR and MS spectrums. The molecular formula of compound 8c was determined definitely by using X-Ray analysis, as well. The effects and the behavior of the nucleophiles and the new substrate in this reaction were discussed comparably according to their properties and structures.
