Abstract (EN)
In this research, the occurrence and levels of deoxynivalenol(DON) and fumonisin B1 (FB1) were determined in 60 wheat, 60 maize, 25 rice, 25 pasta and 8 maize chips samples purchased from different retail shops in Çorum. High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) was used for the determination of DON and FB1. The limit of detection (LOD) and limit of quantification (LOQ) values forDON were 16,3 μg kg-1 and 54,1 μg kg-1, respectively. TheLOD and LOQ values forFB1 were 14,3 μg kg-1 and 47,6 μg kg-1, respectively. The recovery values of DON and FB1 were 86% and 94,2%, while the repeatabilities were 7,3% and 7,1%, respectively. DON was detected in 4 out of 60 wheat samples at levels varying from 158 to 653 μg kg-1. DON was found in only one rice sample at a level of 106,3μg kg-1, while two samples of pasta contained DON at levels of 52,2 μg kg-1and 61,0 μg kg-1. DON was not detected in any of maize and maize chips. FB1 was found in only one pasta sample (47,6 μg kg-1), while 11 samples of maize contained FB1 at levels ranging from 125 to 830 μg kg-1. No FB1 was detected in any of the wheat, rice and maize chips samples. Keywords : Deoxynivalenol, Fumonisin B1, Cereal, HPLC
