Abstract (EN)
In this study, Hofmann-type M(1,5-diaminopentane) Ni(CN)4.G (M= Co, Ni, Cdor Cu; G= 1,2-, 1,3-, 1,4-dicholorobenzene ) clathrates were prepared for thefirst time. These compounds were studied by using infrared spectroscopictecnique. The spectral features suggest that the crystal structure of thecompounds are similar in structure to the other Hofmann-diam-type clathrates.The structure of the compounds consist of the two dimensional polimeric layersof [M- Ni(CN)4]â. The 1,5-diaminopentane ligand molecule bridging adjacentcyanometal complex sheets in the compounds are in a trans conformation.Several vibration modes of the ligand molecule in the clathrate compounds haveupward shifts in frequency compared with the free molecule.
