Abstract (EN)
Cucumber plant has an important place in the World and Turkey which is used as fresh and pickled. Antalya supplies half of the winter production in cucumber production in Turkey. There are important fungal diseases that threaten cucumber production and powdery mildew is the most important of fungel diseases. Cultural and chemical methods are used fight against of powdery mildew diseases on cucumber. In the cultural control , it is necessary to require a lot of cost and in the chemical control which leaves their residue on the fruit due to these reasons consumers prefer healty products. There fore many companies which has R&D department , are trying to prevent these problems through trying to develop resistant varieties. The aim of the research is diagnosing resistant lines. Lines that were detected as a resistant will shed light on genetic studies in the future. By advancing these resistant lines company will have new F1 varieties and genetic sources. Some of the new F1 varieties are sensitive, on these varieties to make resistant will be used BC(Backcross method). In this study , candidates of variety known as recombinant inbred lines (RIL) ,which were genetically settled at the level of F8 produced by Hasel , were used. Genetic sensitive and resistance of the lines having predominant characteristics against the powdery mildew diseases in this study , were investingated. ST-10 and HC varietes are resistant which belong to Hasel Company White HA ,HB,HC,HD,HE,HF,HG,HH,HK,HL ,BACCARA varieties were determined as sensitive. ST-10 which is a durable plant was registered as ESTER F1 in octaber 2017. The lines which are determinaed as sensitive will be tried to be transfered from the resitant lines by the back cros method.
