Abstract (EN)

In this study, we aimed that determine antioxidant, antimicrobial, DNA protective activity and mineral substance content of B. fuscescens (Gyeln.) Brodo & D. Hawksw, P. tiliacea (Hoffm.) Hale, and U. decussata (Vill.) Zahlbr. lichen species with ethanol extract. Rel Assay Diagnostics kits and DPPH method were used (TAS, TOS) to determination of antioxidant activity. For the test of antimicrobial activity 5 different bacteria species (Enterocossus faecalis 29213, Klebsiella pneumoniae 700603, Pseudomonas aeruginosa 27853, Escherichia coli 35218 and Staphyloccus aureus 28213) were used and studied with minimum inhibition method (MIC). pBR322 plasmid DNA was used UV-C and from induced oxidative damage to determination of protective activity of lichen extracts. After, Plasmid DNA and lichen extracts damaged by hydrogen peroxide and UV, on 1.25% agarose gel imaging will be performed. Mineral matter content of lichen mineralized whether wet digestion method was determined using atomic absorption spectrometry. According to the results, DPPH method didn't clean so much free radical in the extract of lichen species. In study conducted Rel Assay Diagnostics kits, the highest antioxidant activity showed P. tiliaceae. When the antimicrobial test results were evaluated, the extracts of B. fuscescens was determined to be more effective on bacteria. All lichen samples showed DNA protctive activity against UVC and H2O2 at a concentration of 0,05mg/μl in DNA protective activity tests.
