Abstract (EN)
Since nonlinear differential equations are used in mathematical modeling of studies in science and engineering, they are one of the important research topies of applied mathematics. It is also important to find the exact solutions of nonlinear differential equations. Jacobi elliptic function method, which has a history of 20 years is on effective method of finding the exact solutions of nonlinear differential equations. The aim of this thesis is to obtain periodic and Soliton solutions of the potential KdV equation and the Resonant nonlinear Schrödinger equation (RNLSE) having anticubic nonlinearity. The thesis consists of five main chapters. In first section, general information is given about Soliton waves obtained by solving nonlinear differential equations. In the second part, the definitions and theorems required are given. In the third part, the solution method of the Jacobi elliptic function method is explained. In the fourth part, solutions of the differential equations considered were obtained. In the last part, an overall assessment was made of results obtained.
