Abstract (EN)
In this study, six Schiff bases were obtained from the condensation reactions of 2-amino-5-chloropyridine, 5-amino-2-chloropyridine, 2-amino-3,5-dicholoropyridine, 2-amino-3-methylpyridine, 2-amino-4-methylpyridine and 2-amino-5-methylpyridine with 2,3-dihydroxybenzaldehyde.Determinations of the structure of the compounds were elucidated by FT-IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, HETCOR, COSY spectroscopy methods. Crystal structure of compounds 1, 2 and 3 were determined by the X-ray crystallography technique. In addition, enol-imine or keto-amine tautomer equilibria and hydrogen bonding were investigated by 1H-NMR, UV-Vis and X-ray techniques.
