Analgesic and antiinflammatory effect screening of some pirazol-3-carboxylic acid amid derivatives

Analgesics are used for the symptomatic control of acute andchronic pain syndromes2. They are one of the most common drugs in all overthe world and are classified into two groups as opioids and non-opioids(NSAIDs) pharmacologically2,4. In mild acute and chronic nociceptive pains, aremostly preferred because of the side effects of opioids. Recently, many studieshave been done with the ester and amide derivatives of NSAIDs. Thesemolecules are believed to have more anti-inflammatory activity and lessgastrointestinal side effects.In this thesis, amide derivatives of pyrrazole-3-carboxylic acidewere synthesized in Pharmaceutical Chemistry Department of PharmacyFaculty of Gazi University and with the code names as DNY 192, DNY 194, DNY236 ve DNY 238, analgesic and anti-inflammatory activities of these moleculeswere scanned in Pharmacology Department laboratories.As the result, especially in DNY 194, DNY 236 and DNY 238 groupspotent antinociceptive activity of the amide derivatives were determined inwriting models. In fact, the potencies of these activities were found as equalwith ASA relatively.After that antiinflammatory activities of these substances werestudied in the carragennan mice paw edema experimental model and antiinflammatoryactivity was determined in all of the four derivatives.Consequently, these derivatives may be drug candidates in the future.
