Systematic and morphology of some Silphidae (Coleoptera) species

Abstract (EN)
This study based on 248 specimens which were collected from different parts of Turkey between 1998 ? 2007 and deposited in Zoological Museum of Gazi University. After the evaluation of these specimens, 15 species with 2 subspecies within 1 species, belongs to 8 genera among 2 subfamilies were determined. As a result of this study, morphologic features, information about localities, identification keys of species and distribution maps for the research area and male genitalia and general apperance pictures of each species are given.
