Abstract (EN)
High volume of output and the cost are one of the main distinctive features of modern steel making methods. Prior to the development of control models, it is important to decide on proper associated control factors. Such factors should be selected after careful technical analysis as to whether computer control is possible or not. In the design and control of Basic Oxygen Furnace (BOF) there are a lot of factors such as charging, blowing, oxygen and bath slag activity, furnace design, lance design, liquid steel, slag control, hot metal. In this paper, fuzzy modeling for the control of the BOF process is studied. One reason for the recent interest in fuzzy modeling and control in BOF process is that it promises a solution to the strongly nonlinear problems which have so far proven extremely difficult to be solved by conventional methods. Key Words : Basic Oxygen Furnace (BOF), Fuzzy Process Modelling
