Assessment of the mobbing behaviour that middle school physical education teachers are exposed to in school environment (The case of Konya province)

The sample of the research is 205 Physical Education Teachers who work in schools within the boundaries of the Konya Province. The questionnaire used as a data collection tool in the study consists of two parts. In the first part, a personal information form is used to identify the participants' personal information. The second part included questions about work environment and mobbing. For the analysis of data, SPSS 16 statistical package program was used. Oneway ANOVA methodwas used to determine whether the level of mobbing of participants varied according to their demographic factors. The LSD test was used to determine which groups resulted in statitically significant differences. The level of significance in the study was taken as P <0,05. According to results; the mobing level of physical education teachers differ according to various demographic variables. When it is examined whether the mobbing level of physical education teachers change according to various demographic variables, it does not differ in terms of Gender and Age (p> 0.05) but differs in terms of Seniority, Number of Teachers at School, Educational Status, and Marital Status.
