Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this research is to examine the organizational silence levels of the Physical Education Teachers working in Van Province. The universe of the research consists of 638 Physical Education and Sports Teachers working at different school levels (middle school, high school) in the 2019-2020 academic year in Van. The sample of the study, on the basis of voluntary participation, consists of a total of 244 Physical Education and Sports Teachers, 87 women and 157 men. In this study; In order to measure the organizational silence perception levels of Physical Education and Sports Teachers, the Organizational Silence Scale, which was developed by Van Dyne, Ang, and Botero (2003) and of which reliability was tested by Ağırbaş (2018) was used. The scale consists of 15 statements and three (3) sub-dimensions. For this reason, t-test (Mann-Withney U Test) was used in paired comparisons to test the hypotheses of the research, and correlation test (Spearman CorrelationTest) was used for correlation test. IBMSPSS 22.0 package program was used to analyze the research data. There was no significant difference between the school level variable and the accepted silence and silence for the benefit of the organization sub-dimensions of the organizational silence levels of Physical Education and Sports Teachers. Statistically significant difference was found between the school level variable and defensive silence sub-dimension. Keywords: Physical Education, Sports, Organizationel Taem, Silence, Teacher
