Abstract (EN)

ABSTRACTGökçen GÜLER ACARLEVEL OF THE CONFLICT BETWEEN PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHERSAND SPORTS FOUNDATIONIn this study level of the conflict between physical education teachers and sports foundationwere examined. Survey cross- hatching model was performed to establish the opinions of physicaleducation teachersResearch universe was composed of physical education teachers. Sampling of the study wasphysical education teachers in Elazığ city.To obtain the data in this cross model study physical education teachers in Elazığ werepreinterviewed and the problems and situations were determined about conflict reasons, behavioursand subjects of the physical education teachers with sports foundations.`Conflict Management Strategy Scale? was used in the study that was developed by Holtonand Holton (1993) and adapted by Karip (36). The questionnaire was ordinarily composed of threeparts as Conflict Subjects, Conflict Reasons and Conflict Behaviours.The opinions of physical education teachers about sport foundation and conflict levels wereinterpreted by arithmetical avarages and standart deviation and variables were neglicated. Whenvariances were considered at the differences of teachers opinions Kruskal-Wallis Variance analysisand Tamhane Test as a Post hoc test were used.Percantage, frequency and corelation were applied for analysing data. Non parametric testswere used because data were unmeasurable. Spearman rank correlation test were used for determiningthe relation between data. Analysis done on computer with SPSS 12.0 for Windows packetprogrammme.As a conclusion, mostly physical education teachers have conflict with sports foundations.Key Words: Physical education, Sports, Teacher, Conflict.
