Organizational dissent, organizational commitment and emotional exhaustion relationship in physical education and sports teachers

The purpose of this study was to determine the relations among organizational dissent, organizational commitment and emotional exhaustion levels of Physical Education Teachers working in the Eastern Anatolia Region. The sample of the research was composed of 425 male and female Physical Education and Sports Teachers who were determined convenience sampling method. As data collection instrument, a questionnaire composed of four section including demographic information sheet, Organizational Commitment Scale, 'Organizational Dissent Scale and Emotional Exhaustion Scale was used. In the data analysis section, to test the hypothesis of the study descriptive statistics such as arithmetic mean, standard deviation, frequency / percentage, normal distribution test, (Kolmogorov-Smirnov test), as well as t-test correlation test (Spearman test), (Mann-Whitney U Test) and t-test in paired comparisons, has been made. As the result of the study indicates, a statistically significant difference was found in the moral commitment sub-dimension of the participants by gender. Also findings pointed a statistically negative relationship was found between the age variable and the sub-dimension of calculative commitment.
