Abstract (EN)

Aim: This research aims to examine the task and contextual performances and organizational support levels of individuals working as Physical Education and Sports Teachers in secondary and high school equivalent schools affiliated to the Provincial Directorate of National Education in Erzurum province according to different variables. Methods: The universe of the research consists of individuals working as physical education and sports teachers in secondary and high school equivalent schools. The sample was determined by the convenience sampling method in the research carried out in the screening model and consists of a total of 143 physical education and sports teachers, 69 male and 74 female, working as physical education and sports teachers in schools affiliated to the Provincial Directorate of National Education in Erzurum province. In the study, a "personal information form", task and contextual performance and organizational support scales were used as data collection tools. Data was collected online via Google Forms. The kurtosis and skewness values of the obtained data were examined and parametric tests were applied. Frequency analysis was performed to determine the demographic status of the participants. T-test was used in independent groups according to variables such as gender, marital status, education level and do you do sports, and one-way analysis of variance was used for variables such as age and tenure, and the significance level (p<0.05) was taken. Findings: As a result of the research, it was seen that there was a significant difference in the organizational support levels of the participants in terms of education and gender variables. In task performance, a significant difference was found in the marital status variable. No significant difference was found in the variable "Do you do sports?" Conclusion: When the task and contextual performances of physical education teachers and their organizational support levels were examined, it was observed that there was a significant difference in the organizational support levels in favor of female participants in terms of the gender variable. Again, it was determined that there was a significant difference in the level of organizational support in favor of the participants with a bachelor's degree in terms of the educational status variable. These results can be said that the level of organizational support has a distinctive feature on the education and gender variables.
