Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between emotional intelligence, academic self-efficacy and psychological resilience levels of physical education and sports college students. For this purpose, a total of 242 students, 127 of whom were male (52,5%) ( age=33,28±6,98) and 115 of whom were female (47,5%) ( age=34,83±7,77), participated in the study voluntarily. The study was designed with relational survey model. Personal Information Form, Schutte Emotional Intelligence Scale, Academic Self-Efficacy Scale and Psychological Resilience Scale were used as data collection tools. In the analysis of the data, firstly, the skewness kurtosis values that stand out for normality assumptions were examined and it was determined that the data met the normality assumptions. Accordingly, T-Test was used to determine the differences between individuals' emotional intelligence, academic self-efficacy and psychological resilience levels according to gender variable. In addition, One-Way Anova analysis was used to determine the differences according to age, environment and department variables. As a result of this analysis, Post-Hoc Tukey test was used to determine the source of the difference. Pearson Product Moment Correlation analysis was used to determine the relationships between the variables within the scope of the research. When the findings obtained within the scope of the research were analyzed, it was determined that there were significant differences within the groups in terms of demographic variables. When the relationships between the scales were examined, it was determined that there were significant positive relationships as statistics.
