Abstract (EN)

Vesiletü'l-Mahmûdiye is a work written in Old Anatolian Turkish by Bedreddin Mahmoud Amasyavî. Bedreddin Mahmoud Amasyavî wrote this work as a parallel verse to Yazıcıoğlu Mehmed's work, which is the first work written in our literature under the name Muhammediye. Yazıcıoğlu translated this work in verse from the Arabic work called Meġaribü'z-zamân. Muhammediye is described as a work that was popular both in literary circles and among the public at the time it was written. It is stated that due to the interest it received it was read like a mawlid in various religious ceremonies and that most people memorized the work from beginning to end. In this respect, it is known that Muhammediye influenced large masses. However, the language of the work sometimes reaches a level that the public cannot understand. Both as a result of the admiration it received and the criticism it received in terms of the weight of its language, parallel verses were written for Muhammediye by poets of that period and later. Vesîletü'l-Mahmûdiye, written by Bedreddin Mahmoud Amasyavî, is a work written as a parallel verse to Muhammediye. This work is referred to in the sources as Vesîle, Vesîletü'l-Mahmûdiye, Mahmûdiye. The work was written during the reign of Bayezid II and presented to the sultan. The work consists of introduction, review text, and index sections. Information about the work and the author is given in the introduction section. The writing characteristics, sound and morphology of the work are discussed in the review section. In the text section, two copies of the work were critically reviewed. The grammatical index of the work is given in the index section. At the end of the study, it is aimed to introduce a text that has not been brought to light in Turkish literature until today, to determine the linguistic features of the work, to ensure that the author is known by providing detailed information about the life, literary personality, works and place of the author of the work in Turkish literature, who is Bedreddin Mahmoud Amasyavî.
