Özet (EN)
Quantitative Evaluation of Falling Risk in Behcet's Patients and Determination of these Risk Factors Aim of study, quantitative evaluation of falling risk in Behcet's patients, to assess fear of falling, number of falls over the last twelve months, effective risk factors for falling, which component of Behcet Disease poses a risk to fall. Taken to work first time diagnosed according to the criteria of Behçet's Disease of International Study Group or previously diagnosed 30 Behcet's patients and 30 healthy individuals for the control group. Individuals in the patient group questioned active clinical complaints within the past month through Behcet's Disease Current Activity Form (BDCAF), duration of illness, drugs used. Also, the individuals involved both the patient and the control group evaluated demographic data, the presence of falling fears, falling stories in the last year, fear of falling through Tinnetti's Falls Efficacy Scale(FES), the risk of falling with the portable balancing system (Tetrax system) quantitatively. Statistical tests were conducted at the 0,05 significance level for all outcome measures. In the results of study, there was a significant difference in the quantitative measurement of the fall risk between the two groups(p<0,01). When active disease components affecting the risk of falls in Behcet's disease are evaluated; arthralgia was found to be a risk for falls(p<0,05). Between the two groups no significant difference was found associated with fear of falling, fall story in the last year, falling fears detected by FES(p>0,05). At the Behçet's disease no significant correlation was found between the risk of falling and the duration of the illness, patient index score average, demographic data averages, Tinnetti's Falls Efficacy Scale average, averages of falling stories in the past year(p>0,05). In addition, at the patient group no significant difference was detected between patients using colchicine and those using colchicine and other medicines, those who are fear of falling and are not fear of falling(p>0,05). In conclusion, our study showed that the risk of falls in Behçet's patients was significantly higher than that of healthy subjects and that arthralgia was a risk factor for falls. The risk of falls in Behçet's patients, this risk requires further study of effective factors and balance.
