The Mawlid of Behiştî (Examination -text)

There are lots of writing that have written to pray to saint Muhammed, for remembering him and to pray for forgiveness. One of these writings is named as Mevlid. Name of Mevlid is used for writings to describe saint muhammed's life, his miracles, his death and especially his birth. In this study we examine Mevlid which is written by Behişti Ramazan. Our study is formed by prologue and then three other chapter. In prologue we refered Mevlid, coming up of Mevlid, importance of Mevlid for turkish literature andthen life of poets who have the same name with Behişti. In first episode,life of Behişti Ramazan, his literary personality and his works is informed. In second episode, shape and contend of Mevlid is examined.
