Abstract (TR)

In this work, the two novels of Bekir Büyükarkın, Gece Yarısı (ĠĢgâl altında Ġstanbul) and, Bozkırda Sabah are studied in terms of National Struggle‟s reflections on the imaginary world. In the first part of the study, the life, style and works of Bekir Büyükarkın are examined. In the second part, the novels in Turkish literature discussing about National Struggle are studied. While in the third part the plot is analyzed, in the fourth part the characters, the minorities as well as occupying powers are examined. In the fifth and sixth parts , the time and space are studied in detail. In the seventh part, the style and language features are tried to be identified. In the last chapter, the results of how National Struggle reflected on the novels of Bekir Büyükarkın are given.
