Abstract (EN)
National and international cooperation has increased with globalization. The main reason for this is thought of organizations which want to increase efficiency in their work. Due to local governments should keep efficiency at the forefront, they give weight to cooperation between national and international organizations. Unions of Local Governments will be determined with details in first section of this work which is written in order to evaluate and analyze an important cooperation institute as an example. And in second section, Union of Turkish World Municipalities will be analyzed with its organizational structure, activities and budget. And in third section as outcome, problems of local government unions will be discussed and solution proposals will be evaluated.
