The hadith science in Balkh region and the Balkhi traditionalists

Since the establishment of the Belh region, it has been important for religious, cultural, geographical, physical, commercial and political aspects. The city of Belh, which has been one of the important settlements of various religions and nations throughout history, is known as the exit place of Zoroastrianism. With the entry of Islam here, it has rapidly progressed in the field of religion and science, making it one of the elite centers of Islamic culture and civilization. It first came under the political method of the ancient Khorasan and later became the lore and religious center of the Toharistan state. Islamic geographers named this region Ummu'l-Balad (mother of cities). In addition, this place was named with the names such as Kubbetu'l-Islam and Daru'l-Fukaha because of the scholars who grew up in the field of hadith, tafsir, fiqh, philosophy, literature, medicine and geography. In this study, one of the four major political centers of Khorasan, Belh region, The scientific studies in the field of hadith, which stand out in the field of hadith science since the time it entered Islam, have been discussed here.
