Abstract (EN)
Within the scope of this thesis, the mechanical properties of bentonite clay mixtures of Adapazarı silt will be examined. Bentonite clay will be added to a pure silt (a silt sample with a low clay content) at the rates of 0, 2, 4, 8, 10, 15, 20, 30 and 40%, and the slip resistance will be determined as the contribution rate increases. Slip resistance will be determined by shear box tests in a laboratory environment. It was aimed to determine the variation of the cohesion and friction angle values obtained as a result of the experiment with the clay ratio.
