Abstract (EN)
This thesis consists of four chapters. First chapter is devoted to the introduction. In the second chapter, some of the basic concepts are introduced in the Euclidean and Lorentzian space. The Bertrand curves and related theorems are defined in the Euclidean and Lorentzian space. In the third chapter, Bertrand curves are defined in , dimensional Euclidean space and a general characterization of Bertrand pairs is given. Furthermore, some special Bertrand curves are defined and the characterizations of these curves are obtained.Fourth chapter is the original part of this study. In this chapter, timelike Bertrand curves are defined in , dimensional Lorentz space and a general characterization of timelike Bertrand pairs is established. Furthermore, some special timelike Bertrand curves are defined and the characterizations of these curves are found.Key words: Bertrand curves, Euclid space, Lorentz space.
