Abstract (EN)

The aim of this research is to investigate the learning of robotics in secondary school students by using an educational robotic kit robot kit. The study was designed as a case study, one of the qualitative research models of research techniques. In the 2018-2019 academic year, the study group consisted of 39 students (24 boys, 15 girls) studying in the 5th grade of a school. The application period lasted five weeks. Data were collected with the help of semi-structured interview forms, observation, observation notes and voice recordings. After the data were collected, codes and themes were created and analyzed by content analysis. In the study, it was observed that the students who implemented with the educational robot kit through group work found the process interesting, effective in choosing the profession and positive benefits to other courses. It has come to the conclusion that the effect of readiness and preliminary knowledge is important in the process. It has been concluded that intergroup interaction is effective in the process of robotics learning. In line with the results of the study, suggestions were made for the learning and teaching process of robotic coding by group work.
