Abstract (EN)

At the present, concrete is a very common material in construction sector. When we look around we can see that buildings, roads, bridges, dams, power stations, land ties and so many things like that are built of concrete. There are some reasons for concrete to be that common. We can list some of these reasons as:1.Economical2.Easier to shape3.Resistance to physical and chemical outside influences4.Can be produced everywhere5.Less energy loss while producing6.İncrease of pulling endurance with steel7.High pressure endurance values8.Can lose weight with weightless aggregate9.Can be coloured with pigments10.Great developments in producing, transporting and placingThus for a material like that common quality control is inevitable. There are lots of ways of quality control two types of concrete as wet and hardened. In this study, we will seek the effects of the dimensions of the aggregates to the endurance of concrete by drilling core method with mentioning about the other ways of quality control in general terms.Key Words: Concrete, Quality Control
