Investigation of the effect of concrete class on the designand rough construction cost of sports halls to be built indifferent earthquake zones

Many public facility investments are made through Ministries, Municipalities, and other stakeholder institutions in every part of our country. These facilities are used for the benefit of our people. One of the investments made for this purpose is Sports Halls. Sports Halls are public buildings that people of all ages use actively as both spectators and athletes. For this reason, it is of great importance that these facilities remain intact in case of a possible disaster. At the same time, the modeling of the Sports Halls, which are also used as a post-disaster shelter, should be done with this sensitivity. At the modeling stage, a design that is both high-strength and more cost-effective should be made. Of course, when considering this situation, the choice of concrete class in which the building will be built comes to the fore. Considering this parameter, structural analysis was carried out using different concrete classes in Antalya-Aksu, Manisa-Akhisar, Tokat-Erbaa and Hatay-Hassa, which have different spectral acceleration coefficient (DD2) values for 3 types of Sports Halls in the inventory of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. As a result of these analyzes, the effect of this situation on the building cost was evaluated, since it was necessary to make changes in the element dimensions while modeling. While modeling the gyms according to variable situations, a commercial package program called Sta4CAD was used. The results obtained as a result of the study were discussed by putting them there through graphs and tables.
