Abstract (EN)

Keywords: Concrete, steel, column, shear force, earthquake, SAP2000 program Many existing structures in the world are referred to as reinforced concrete structures and these buildings combine with four important elements to form a reinforced concrete building and these important elements are foundation, column, beam, flooring. All of this is one, and it counteracts an external load or force, it is the material properties, labor factors and good design that strengthen these factors. If these factors are applied to the structure in a standard way, it can resist external loads and forces as a very good carrier system. When you say reinforced concrete structures, these buildings are not only made of concrete; beside this strong material, there is another important element that it can withstand any foreign loads coming from the outside, it is steel. Reinforced concrete pressure forces resist, while steel resists tensile forces. In this study, a ten-storey building reference model and a column model added between the seven model axles, a seven-storey building reference model and a column model added between the three model axles, a four-storey building reference model and a column model added between the three model axles, there is a seventeen and four-storey building reference model and three model column models added between the axles. In this study, first, second and third group comparisons were made, columns and beams were designed with different dimensions, and each of them was analyzed and compared separately in the SAP2000 program. As a result of these analyses, examinations were made on the columns. In this study, the results of the earthquake force on the whole building, the earthquake force on the floors, and the shear forces on the columns selected on the ground floor were obtained. In this study, a different storey model was studied, by adding additional columns between the axes to each of these plans and arranging the positions of the columns with different axes, the results were compared with each other in all these models. Columns, in different models and at different points, by increasing or decreasing, do the earthquake force, and the base shear force from the earthquake, change when we add the columns? If it is effective, it has been investigated what kind of result will emerge. In this context, the analysis was concluded. We proved once again that the columns are an important element of the building. With the columns in the frame of the added columns, it was seen that the building was more resistant to external disasters by reducing loads, forces and earthquake deformation.
