Abstract (EN)
In this study, the effects of beam discontinuities and axle irregularities on structural behavior in reinforced concrete frame systems are investigated. For this purpose; the layout of the selected columns or beams was modeled on 4 different plans and 3, 5, 7 stories each. In these models, shear forces, moment values, period in structure models, base shear forces, changes in relative floor displacements and the variation of total lateral displacements in buildings are investigated. In this thesis study, the effects of beam irregularities on 4 different plans and in 3, 5 and 7 storey models of each floor plan were investigated by providing dynamic and performance analyzes to ensure the safety of life and behavior of reinforced concrete frame structures. The plans for this study are 3 meters high, earthquake zone 1st degree earthquake zone, ground class Z4, building use purpose is residence or work place. İdeCAD Static 8 program was used for the analysis of the constructions. Dynamic and performance analyzes were carried out and the safety analysis was aimed at safety.
