Abstract (EN)
In the world where energy and energy sources are known as power, the value of energy has increased with the decrease of energy sources and the increase of energy use. As well as increasing energy production, energy consumption needs to be reduced efficiently. One of the points where energy is spent the most is factories. In this thesis, we will examine how to reduce the energy consumption of a factory efficiently and how to produce energy in the factory. We will also talk about how to reduce the unit cost of the product produced by reducing its dependence on foreign energy. We will look at the parts that consume the most energy in these issues. The production of steam and compressed air in factories is very important. Energy transformations are provided in these production areas by using boilers and compressors. Losses occur during energy conversion. Every loss causes us inefficiency and extra energy consumption. Boiler efficiency and line losses are important in steam production. Boilers with high boiler efficiency should be used when producing steam, boiler water conductivity should be checked, the number of bluffs should be made carefully, economizer and recuperator should be used. The most important point after steam production is the transportation of steam to the desired point. During steam transportation, attention should be paid to the insulation and condensate. One of the important points in the production of compressed air is the efficiency value of the compressor. In addition to the compressor, attention should also be paid to the ambient temperatures, the diameters of the pipes and equipment used. The equipment used in factories should be selected in such a way that the efficiency class is high and consumes little energy. As well as reducing energy consumption, electricity generation should be provided by installing a GES system on factory roofs or empty spaces. By generating a certain part of the lost energy at the point of consumption, energy expenses can be reduced by reducing external dependence. With falling energy costs, unit production costs can be reduced. According to all the calculations made in this study, it was emphasized that 11.998.681 ₺ will be saved per year
