In the context of Bayân al-Maânî Molla Howaish's method of interpretation

This study examines Molla Huwaish's method of interpretation of Qur'an in the context of his commentary, namely, Bayan al-Maânî 'ala Hasabe Tarteb al-Nuzul. Huwaish is commentery position because it is first Quranic exegesis according to the order of revelation. Our study consists of an introduction, three chapters and a conclusion. Introduction presents the subject, aim, method and sources of the study. In the first chapter, it is informed about the life, teachers, students and works of Molla Huwaish. In addition, information about the general characteristics of the tafsir, its purpose of writing, date of writing, sources, and the method that it was followed in the commentary of the surah and verse was given. In the second chapter, it was examinated the Qur'anic sciences such as history of Qur'an, asbab al-nuzul, mekkî-medenî, naskh. In the third chapter, we analyzed this exegesis in terms of riwayah and dirayah methods. In the conclusion, the informations which is attained is evaluated.
