For this purpose, al-Baydawi's Anwar al-Tanzil was entirely read and examined. In the research, the issues of Qur'anic sciences and of tafsir methodology were roughly addressed, and available broad scholarly accumulation and the details of subjects were not given wide coverage. Rather, it was dwelled on the Qur'anic sciences and usul at-tafsir mentioned in Anwar al-Tanzil, and al-Baydawi's tafsir methodology was exemplified.
