Many researchers have investigated the effect of doped or substitution of different elements to high temperature superconductors. Aim of this research to understand the underlying mechanism of high temperature superconductivity and to enhance properties of the high temperature superconductors (Tc, Ic, Jc, etc.). Copper oxides are the most important group of high temperature superconductors. Among cuprates, the BiSrCaCuO system (BSCCO) is widely studied and some technological applications are achieved.In this thesiss , the effects of the Sn doping on Cu sites (x=0.0, 0.1, 0.3, 0.5) about electrical, magnetical, structural and mechanical properties of Bi1.75Pb0.25Sr2Ca2Cu3-xSnxO10+ ? glass-ceramic superconductors was investigated. Samples was prepared by conventional melt quenched method. Superconductor phases and crystal lattice parameter was determined by powder x-ray diffraction method (XRD). The microstructure of samples was obtained by scanning electron microscope (SEM). Crystallization kinetic studies was examined by using Differential Thermal Analysis (DTA) and Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA). Mechanical popperties was investigated by Vickers Microhardness system. Finally, superconducting properties (critical temperature Tc and critical current density Jc) was determined from R-T on low temperature and Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM) measurements.Key Words : Superconductivity , Glass Ceramic , BSCCO
